Hot dog just like America! Fries were soooo good, just the pain with salt. We loved it, having been in the UK 3 weeks.

I had 🌭 from here before going vegan and they were delicious. I tried their vegan virtuous dog today and its also delicious 😋 too. Great friendly service and reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Got myself the Doghouse burger and pimped fries! Normally im like a black hole and eat a ton however this filled me up perfectly and was so gooooood, the pastrami mixxed with the burger cheese and spicy mayo was perfect and all well worth the price. The 2 ladies working were so friendly and polite which makes the experience even better.

I had burger and chips and both were amazing and my little lad who's 5 had cheesy chips and loved them which is a massive compliment from a fussy eater

Both polite and professional. Ordered two hotdogs. One was ready… one was still cooking. Tested this with a meat thermometer. Very professional for what is effectively a hotdog stand.
They provided a kind of pager and asked us to walk about until the second hotdog was ready. When it beeps your food is ready. Brilliant.
Sure enough a couple of minutes later we were beeped.
The hotdogs were BIG, cooked to perfection and had lashings of cooked onions on.
As hotdogs go…. Highly recommended.

Both were delicious, proper meaty sausages and not greasy. Service good even though I had to wait a couple of minutes for mine - I got a buzzer and it was just a couple of minutes until the thermometer said yes. Got to say I was happy to see them checking the temperatures lots. And the wait meant I got to try the pork too. Both delicious and prices pretty good for York City centre. And very happy to be able to sit down properly to eat.- Service

Whilst in York today with friends from America we had some of the best street food ever. Between us we had hot dogs and burgers. Our American friends said the burgers where just has good if not better than "Five Guys". Thank you for the excellent food and service. Will definitely recommend the Doghouse to our friends.

Honestly not an exaggeration - But some of the greatest Hotdogs in the UK ! every visit to York inevitably ends up with Doghouse hotdog, simply unavoidable and always enjoyable.

Was served by lovely girl with red hair and her colleague with long hair. They were both under pressure at one point but still managed to get our order spot on and in a good time. Thank you both
